Drenched in history, the pub has many stories from the generations of locals and visitors it has seen entering its doors. From the classic wooden bar and historic dining room, to the traditional pastoral atmosphere, The Junction offers an outstanding rural hotel experience.
Out the back sits our sunbathed beer garden, the perfect spot to enjoy a game of pool or sit back and relax with friends. The recent addition of a state of the art outdoor stage sees many local performers and musicians bring the party to Toolamba.

A historic pub
The Junction Hotel was built in the late 19th century, just across the road from the town’s train station. After a 1912 fire destroyed the original pub, it was rebuilt in the same year and now stands as the oldest remaining building in the town of Toolamba.
Prior to the station’s closure in 1981 the pub was known for supplying refreshments to passengers while the train was stopped, alongside boasting accommodation for those weary from long journeys.
It has long served as a central meeting spot for the community, a notion we continue to strive for today.
